The ferries between Elsinore and Helsingborg carry an annual total of approx. 12 million passengers over the Øresund.

A good 75% or approx. 10 million are "day trippers". 75% of passengers are Swedish.

The ferries carry approx. 1.9 million cars, corresponding approximately to the total number of cars in Denmark.

Between 85,000 and 90,000 times a year a ferry crosses the Øresund between the two towns. Approx. 45,000 of the ships come from Elsinore.
